Tampa Teen Twitter Hacker Could Get Plea Deal

TAMPA -- A 17 year old accused in the July 15th hack of several high-profile Twitter accounts, including SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk and former President Obama, could get a plea deal.

During a hearing Wednesday, Clark's defense attorney confirmed that an offer is on the table from prosecutors and asked for time to look it over. Another hearing is set for March 16th at 1:30 p.m.

Clark is one of three facing chages for the hack, which according to the feds, breached more than a hundred Twitter accounts. Hillsborough State Attorney Andrew Warren said Clark is facing 30 charges that involve scam victims nationwide.
