Governor says Florida would welcome RNC- and DNC, too.

If President Trump moves the Republican National Convention out of Charlotte, Florida's governor has a few suggestions on where to hold the meeting.

In a series of tweets, the president expressed his frustrations with the Democratic governor of North Carolina who wouldn't guarantee Charlotte would be RNC-ready come August.

Governor Ron DeSantis has some alternative venues in mind.

"We obviously have a number of areas in our state that could do it," DeSantis said. "Obviously Miami could do it, Orlando could do it, Tampa could do it, Jacksonville could do it."

DeSantis says Florida is ready to step up- for either party.

"Florida would love to have the RNC. Heck, I'm a Republican- it would be good for us to have the DNC in terms of the economic impact."

The Trump campaign is still talking with leaders in North Carolina expressing concern over strict coronavirus rules in Charlotte that could limit the GOP convention in August.
