Opa-locka Residents Plan To Sue Miami-Dade Over Erroneous Water Bills

Opa Locka residents out in full force as attorney Michael Pizzi announces he's sending a cease and desist letter to Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez. He's demanding the county stop sending outrageous water bills to residents based on errors made in-house. He says some people are getting bills as high as 140-thousand-dollars and they're worried their water will be turned off creating a public health risk. Pizzi says if it doesn't stop he'll sue Miami-Dade for its arbitrary and unfair collection practices. He has already filed suit against the city of Opa-locka. Miami-Dade and the Mayor will not comment on pending litigation.
