Pasco Man Called "Hero" for Shooting Neighbor in Domestic Dispute

TRINITY -- The Pasco Sheriff is calling a Trinity man a hero for helping children and shooting a suspect in a domestic violence case. The man rescued children climbing down from a second floor window of a neighbor's house as the gunman fired Wednesday... then shot back and killed him.

"He's out there mowing his grass... could have... heard the commotion and walked back (to his house) and did nothing. But he actually took actions that saved people's lives," sheriff Chris Nocco said.

The identity of the man called Victim Number Two is kept secret because of Florida's victim rights law.
