Four Palm Beach County Beaches Reopen After Bacteria Levels Decrease

Met Office Issue Weather Warning As Temperatures Soar Across The UK

Just in time for the weekend, health advisories at four popular Palm Beach County beaches have been lifted.

The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County had placed the advisories earlier this week for Dubois Park in Jupiter, Lake Worth-Kruesler Beach, Ocean Inlet Park in Boynton Beach and Lantana Beach after water samples showed high levels of potentially dangerous bacteria, but the most recent sampling showed those levels to be back in the good range.

Meanwhile, a health advisory has been issued for Jaycee Park on South Hutchinson Island after higher than normal levels of a potentially dangerous bacteria were found in a water sample.

The Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County will continue to conduct testing and lift the advisory when those levels taper off, but it's likely the advisory will remain in place through the weekend.
