Watch The Trailer For Beatles-Themed Comedy 'Yesterday'

We're only about seven months away from the highly-anticipated surreal comedy, Yesterday, which is centered around the music of The Beatles.

In the film, struggling songwriter Jack Malik (played by Himesh Patel) gets hit by a bus after a worldwide power outage. He wakes up to find that somehow he's the only person in the world who remembers the Fab Four.

Jack soon realizes that he can attain his dreams as a musician by simply plagiarizing all the Beatles music he remembers.

While success comes fast and furious with Jack putting his names on some of the biggest hits of the 20th Century, Jack's relationships become strained and his family and friends begin to turn on him.

You can watch the first trailer for Yesterday above.

The film also features Downton Abbey's Lily James, Saturday Night Live's Kate McKinnon and modern day pop superstar and Beatles devotee Ed Sheeran.

Yesterday was written by Richard Curtis (Love Actually) and directed by Oscar-winner Danny Boyle (127 Hours, 28 Days Later, Trainspotting).
