I can tell you without a doubt, if I was booked to fly home to see my family and was told I had to give up my seat, I would do the same thing!! I can't believe this actually happened to this man! United Airlines apparently overbooked a flight and needed room for some employees. They asked if anyone would give up their seat, nobody did. They kept offering more money, no takers. So they randomly drew a name and decided that was the passenger who was not taking that flight. Clearly the man chosen did not agree with this method and refused.
