Listen to Chicago on iHeartRadio

Chicago has a new album on the way.  The group is also debuting the title track to their 36th studio effort, Now: Chicago XXXVI.

Chicago frontman Robert Lamm says the band added the word "Now" to their album's Roman-numeral title to emphasize that it's current music.  The rocker explains that many people just "assume that what Chicago does is all what you hear on classic rock radio, or that Chicago is some dinosaur-like presence on the tour circuit," and they "wanted to kind of change that perception."

Chicago's Now will be available on July 8th.

The band is also hitting the tour circuit this summer.  The group will launch a European trek in Paris on June 26th.  They'll follow with a co-headlining run with REO Speedwagon starting in Concord, California on July 31st.
